Canada Names 2012 Olympic Test Event Team
At the conclusion of a four day training camp, Gymnastics Canada has named the women's team who will travel to London to compete in the Olympic Test event, the last chance to qualify a full team to the 2012 Games.

Members of the team are: Talia Chiarelli of Sarnia, Ont., (Bluewater), Madeline Gardiner and Victoria Moors (Dynamo), Mikaela Gerber (Oakville Gymnastics), all of Cambridge, Ont., Brittany Rogers of Vancouver, (Flicka), Kristina Vaculik of Whitby, Ont., (Gemini) and Peng Peng Lee of Toronto, (Oakville Gymnastics).

This is the 2011 World team minus an injured Dominque Pegg and Coralie Leblond-Chartrand, plus Rogers, who has battled back from a career threatening ankle injury, and Moors, the 2011 Canadian junior champion.

In order to advance a full team to the Olympic Games they must finish top 4 in London. Also, the top 24 in the individual all around will advance. Competition takes place January 10th and 11th in the Olympic venue.
