Day 2 of women's World Championships qualifying competition has just concluded and we now know the gymnasts and teams who will advance to finals and contend for World medals.

In the team competition, there was much at stake. The top 8 teams will not only advance to the Team Finals, but also automatically qualify a full team to the 2012 London Olympics. The teams who finished 9 - 16 will have to travel to London in January to compete at the test event which is the second and final chance to qualify.

Below are the top results from today's competition. Those with a "Q" means they have advanced to finals. Those with an "R" are the reserve gymnasts. Due to the rules of the competition, only two gymnasts per country may advance to individual all around and event finals.
