The USA women just concluded a fantastic podium training and Martha Karolyi and the National team staff have named Anna Li as team alternate, meaning she will not compete here in Tokyo. 

Li told us in the interview below that she has been pushing through an injury to her abdominals and has been limited in training. She looked great in warmup in today's podium training but did not hit her full routine. 

This is very unfortunate as Li has one of the most exciting routines in Tokyo, and definitely the best scoring potential for the USA on bars.
