The Worlds's best gymnasts and coaches will descend upon Tokyo for the 2011 World Gymnastics Championships and Gymnastike will be on-site for coverage! 

The World Gymnastics Championships is the most important elite gymnastics event every year. The competition occurs in non-Olympic years and serves as the qualifying competition to the Olympic Games. 
 
In Rotterdam 2010 we saw the revival of the Russian women's team, and the domination of Aliya Mustafina and Kohei Uchimura. This year, Uchimura will have a chance to win a third straight World All Around title in front of a home crowd. 
 
In Tokyo, a long list of the world's very best elite are set to compete for World titles and the opportunity to qualify to the Olympic Games. Below is all the information you need to watch and follow all the action from the 2011 World Championships.

The top 8 teams for men and women will automatically advance a full team to the Olympic Games. Teams who finish 9th - 16th will have a second and final opportunity to qualify in January.
