Four U.S. gymnasts will compete in 2011 Japan Junior International

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., August 31, 2011– Adrian de los Angeles of Long Beach, Calif./SCATS Gymnastics, Amelia Hundley of Hamilton, Ohio/Cincinnati Gymnastics, Sean Melton of Orlando, Fla./Orlando Metro Gymnastics and Lexie Priessman of Cincinnati, Ohio/Cincinnati Gymnastics, all members of the U.S. Junior National Team, will compete in the 2011 Japan Junior International, Sept. 24-25, in Yokohama, Japan.

De los Angeles (16-18) and Melton (14-15) recently won the junior mens all-around titles at the 2011 Visa Championships. Priessman was fourth in the junior women’s all-around competition and claimed the vault title at the Visa Championships.  Hundley, competing in her second Visa Championships, was fifth in the all-around and fourth in the floor exercise.

The all-around competition is scheduled for Sept. 25, followed by the event finals on Sept. 26. Grigor Chalikyan of SCATS Gymnastics and Mary Lee Tracy of Cincinnati Gymnastics are the USA coaches for this event.
