Victoria Komova had an impressive showing at last weekend's Russian Cup, her first competition back from ankle surgery. She competed watered down routines but still placed 2nd to Anna Dementyeva, the reigning European All Around Champion and member of the 2010 Gold Medal team in Rotterdam. Ksenia Afanasyeva could also be in the running for the all around. She had an excellent day at the Russian Cup, leading the qualification rounds, then went on to self-destruct with 2 falls on bars in the all around finals, finishing 4th. Tatiana Nabieva who competed all around at last year's World Championships is said to focus on vault and bars.
