Bross USA on floor-Handspring layout double front, 1 1/2 punch front double full, 2 1/2 punch front--very powerful and well presented--5.7-8.25/13.95 placing her 8th on this event but 1st in the AA so far!

Roni Rabinovitz ISR hit her beam routine and was so excited---Nice to see that!!

Jessica GIL ORTIZ (COL) who trains at Universal gymnastics in Miami, FL great FX: double layout to open, then double front, full twist double pike, lively, punchy routine. 14.050 rank 6

Aussie Laren Mitchell looking great on floor - super first tumble, arabian double front, very high. Step out later though. 14.050 rank 5

Bross (USA) BB: full turn in wolf position, arabian stuck cold, aerial walkover ff layout, switch leap to tuck back, side somie and a punch front, ro arabian double front staggered forward and put her hands down--6.2-7.95/14.15 placing her 10 so far

Kaeslin SUI on vault---scored 15.075 on her first vault, then 2nd vault 13.575 putting her in 3rd so far!

Lauren Mitchell (AUS) BB: ff ff layout, aerial walkover to punch front, ff ff double pike--6.1-8.1/14.20 For 9th place so far, won't make the beam final.  

Rebecca Bross (USA) just completed her bars routine to roars from the crowd. 15.050 rank 2

Anna MYZDRIKOVA (RUS) fantastic floor routine, extra pizzazz on all her tumbles, nailed it beautifully. 14.500 rank 1

Elsa Garcia -arabian tuck double front very nice, stumbled a little on triple turn, 2 1/2 to tuck front meant to be layout, pike doube dismount--very clean--5.2-8.125/13.325

Downie GBR--on beam-- press handstand to neddle scale, punch front very high and stuck, aerial cartwheel and stop before the ff so she had no acro series, side somie, ro double pike; she ran so far back that she did a back roll off the podium--4.6-7.90/12.5

BRINKER Anja (GER) bars, nice strong routine. High releases, stuck dismount. 13.650

Bross USA on Vault Yurchenko double twist but she did not complete the twist before she landed--5.8-8.55/14.25

Youna Dufournet (FRA) UB: stalder 1/2 to layouted Jaeger, then fell on her Gienger, pak down and shapash up, missed again on toe on handstand 1/2 piro, double layout dismount--6.1-6.75/12.85 guess she didn't do the def?

Olympic Champ Hong (PRK) VT: 1st vault-- Amanar very very high--6.5-9.00/15.50 WOW!!! 2nd Vault--Yurchenko 1/2 on pike 1/2 off -5.2-8.875/14.075 For 2nd so far! Kayla Williams (USA) STILL in 1st!

Jessica Lopez (VEN) FX: full in, 2 1/2 to tuck front, a nice triple twist, pike double--5.2-7.45/12.65

Koko TSURUMI (JPN) nice 1 arm turns, double layout dismount from bars. 14.775. rank 3.

Jessica LOPEZ (VEN) lookiong good on beam but then fell on a layout. nooo! 4.1-7.525/11.625

Rogers CAN on Vault--1st one--Yurchenko 1 1/2 with a step forward but right in the middle--5.3-8.80/14.1 2nd Vault--1/2 on pike 1/2 off--very nice--5.2-8.65/13.85 Total: 13.975, rank 3

Cha Yong Hew PRK--On Bars--hop full to def, stoop dislocate,full piro, pak double layout dismount--Very nicely done--6.5-8.525/15.025 She's 2nd so far!!!!

HE Kexin of China, Olympic champion on bars, now moves to that apparatus. Nails the jaeger, half turn to immediate jaeger to gasps from the crowd. Just one step on landing. 7.1-8.875/ 15.975, rank 1

North Korean gymnast Kim Un Hyang just hit a layout full twist on beam and stuck a double pike for a 14.775, 2nd place

Demyanchuk (UKR) had a fall on BB on her second full turn after doing a full turn with her leg horizonal with foot flexed then she pointed it with leg still up-5.6-7.375/12.975 She is now in 12th AA with 2 major breaks on her best events!!! 

Tweddle GBR UB: giant 1/2 to el grip to full piro, Khorkina immediate Gienger, toe on reverse hecht, toe on reverse hecht with 1/2 turn and she fell, she remounted and did her pak with 1/2 and put her feet on the floor--back to the high and dismounted with full in What a shame! She has had so much pressure on her here. -6.6-7.25 / 13.85 9th so far so NO FINAL for her!!!

Demyanchuk (UKR) UB, giant hop full to takachev immediate Gienger YES!!, Jaeger, pak but fell coming back to the high bar, full in tuck dismount - 5.9-7.25/13.15

International Gymnast just reported that "Erceg from CRO seems to be making a fashion statement here; she's competing in a leo that has the tux look--cuffs and tie and white collar around the neck!!!!!" haha

Sloan USA on Bars--takachev, toe on takachev, dismount with full twisting double lay out! 5.9-8.7/14.6 2nd so far!!! And 3rd in the AA so far

Semenova (RUS) FX - full in pike, 2 1/2 punch brani, double turn in arabesque, 1 1/2 punch front full fall to her side, oops. a great routine until here, pike double dismount. A very well presented routine with a whole lot of sass!! 5.2-7.575/12.775

Sloan (USA) VT - very high yurchenko double twist with only a small jump on the landing.  But got the directional deduction for being outside the corridor. 5.8-8.85/ .1 deduction = 14.55

King (GBR) VT: 1st vault was Tsukahara 1 1/2 - 5.5-8.75/14.25; 2nd vt handspring pike front 1/2--5.0-8.45/13.45 3rd so far!! 

Porgras ROM--On Floor--full in tuck, double turn with leg horizontal, 2 1/2 to punch layout front, double turn holding her leg, pike double, tuck double back--Very nicely performed--5.7-8.475/14.175 She's in 2nd so far!!

26 year old Komrskova (CZE) VT: First vault: 1/2 on pike front 1/2 off--13.90. 2nd vault: Yurchenko full--13.725 for a total of 13.812

SEMENOVA Ksenia (RUS) beam: free walkover; flip, layout; sheep jump; onodi, flip flip, double piked dismout ok landing. Good, but so similar to so many other routines.

Tweddle (GBR) floor: great crowd-pleasing music, gets the crowd clapping along. However has a bad landing from her opening tumble, several steps but just avoids sitting down. Rest of the routine went fine. Good 2nd tumble, arabian pike double front.14.075, rank 2

Bridget Sloan (USA) floor: a good routine, just a few little steps on some of her tumbles. 13.600, rank 5.

Ana PORGRAS (ROU) beam: lovely high leaps, good flip layout, free cartwheel; side somie; spotted landing of double pike dismount well. 6.2-8.65/14.85

Bridget SLOAN (USA) fell on her front tuck on beam, rest of routine good, landed her high dismount well. 13.325 

SUI Lu (CHN) on beam. Big wobble after side somie. nice leaps. Tuck front. Small errors here and there. One step on double pike dismount.

Yana DEMYANCHUK ((UKR) on floor, really giving it some expression, very fast music, she is bouncing around, looks like she is having fun. Good double pike to finish. 13.175

SUBDIVISION 2:

well that completes subdivision 2. Leading contenders on apparatus are: vault: Kayla Williams (USA), uneven bars: Larissa Miller (AUS), beam: Deng Linlin (CHN), floor: Deng Linlin (CHN), all-around: 1. Deng Linlin (CHN), 2. Kurbatova (RUS), 3. Yang Yilin (CHN), 4. Bui (GER), 5. Wing (GBR)

Deng CHN did a beautiful Yurchenko 1 1/2 with one step on the landing---5.3-8.775/14.075 which moves her to 1st place in the AA with 56.35

Kayla Williams currently 1st on vault!! 14.812. She competed the DTY for 2nd vault. It was clean.  

Deng Linlin (CHN) on FX: Arabian double tuck, full in, front step out to 2 1/2 and dismounted with a perfectly stuck pike double. She had (Can you believe!) some questionable dance elements but did do a beautiful switch ring-5.4-8.6/14.00 now she's in 1st place!!

Kayla Williams (USA) on FX mounted with a huge double layout, 1 1/2 to a pike double back, triple full, and then a full in double pike for her dismount. She also got credit for her double turn with leg horizontal---good for her being the tumbler she is.... 5.6-8.3/13.90 1st so far!!!!

Miller (AUS) UB: stalder 1/1 – Gienger, undershoot, good lines, stalder ½ - Jaeger, full in (stuck). Great routine for her. 14.650 and 1st on bars so far!

Deng Linin (CHN) BB: Jump on, pike front, ff ff layout perfect, switch ring, aerial walkover stop tuck back, sheep jump stop, switch leap stop to swing down, side somie, ff ff pike double but she was 2 seconds over time because she had to add stuff to get the requirements. 6.4-8.15 .1 neutral deduction/14.45. She is now 1st even with a scrapped routine.... The Chinese are just so good here!

Ivana HONG (USA) UB: nice stalder, Tkatchev, but then loses control in handstand on high bar, but stays on. Several steps on double layout dismount. 13.150

Morgan AUS on Beam--fell twice--big step on the landing of her double pike dismount--aerial walkover to ff layout, switch leap--5.4-5.65/11.025

SUBDIVISION 1:  

All-around standings after 1st subdivision: 1 Kurbatova (RUS) 55.950, 2. Yang YILIN (China) 55.500, 3. Elisabeth Seitz (GER) 52.225, 4. Charlotte Mackie (CAN) 51.975

Soa Escolar (ESP) BB: jumped on, onodi, aerial walkover to ff layout, nice leg horizontal turn, wolf full, ff 1/4 to handstand, switch to split leaps, Popa with a wobble, ro pike double with a small jump- 5.5-8.225/13.725

Gabriela DRAGOI (ROU) beam: tuck front; free walkover, flip, layout, but then a major wobble, good double turn; another adjustment, few steps on her 2 and a half twist dismount.

Elisabeth SEITZ (GER) full-in double pike, good twisting tumbles, nice spin, double pike (step out) interprets the music well, fun to watch. Stuck double tuck finish. Great routine, finally wakes up the audience.

YANG Yilin (CHN) floor: nice triple, few steps on double pike (stepped out) good spin, elegant dance moves, few faltered landings.

Sydney Sawa (CAN) FX: mounted with Arabian double front, 2 1/2, 1 1/2 twist to front full, pike double dismount nice routine for her- 5.3-7.375 .1 neutral deduction/12.575

Deng (CHN) on UB: el grip stalder, el grip stalder 1/2 to takachev, el grip giant full to very nice Jaeger, pak, full twisting double layout that she had pike down from, but with the usual Chinese form and execution--5.9-7.925/13.825 3rd so far!!! I hope the judges stay with this strictness!!!
