Shawn Johnson East and her husband Andrew took to their YouTube channel to reveal the story of their recent pregnancy and subsequent miscarriage. In a heartbreaking account, they detail the journey from the point of Shawn finding out she was pregnant through the emotional aftermath of discovering that they lost the child one week later.

Johnson took her pregnancy test earlier this week; she was six weeks along before miscarrying naturally. 



The Easts followed up with a Facebook Live video, in which they show gratitude for all the support they've received and answer questions from viewers.



"We know everything happens for a reason," Johnson said.

We believe God's got a bigger plan for us. All we can do is be positive otherwise we just sink into a hole.
