Gymnastics Australia Names Three Athletes To 2017 World Championships Team

Gymnastics Australia is delighted to announce the Women's Artistic Gymnastics team that has been selected to represent Australia at the 2017 FIG Artistic World Championships in Montreal, Canada, from October 2 to 8.

Australia's Georgia Godwin, Rianna Mizzen, and Talia Folino have been confirmed for the 2017 World Championships in Montreal. Australia's nominative roster also included Georgia-Rose Brown, who was not named to the final team.

Gymnastics Australia is delighted to announce the Women's Artistic Gymnastics team that has been selected to represent Australia at the 2017 FIG Artistic World Championships in Montreal, Canada, from October 2 to 8.

Rianna Mizzen (QLD / QLD WAG High Performance Centre)
Talia Folino (VIC / Waverley Gymnastics Centre)

At 20 years of age, Godwin will be the veteran of the team, having previously represented Australia at the 2015 World Championships in Glasgow. Teenagers Mizzen and Folino will both be making their world championships debut.

Gymnastics Australia wishes to congratulate all of the gymnasts, their personal coaches and clubs, as well as the team officials on their selection to the Australian team. The team depart for Montreal on September 25.
