FloGymnastics recently caught up with the former Auburn Tiger:

FloGymnastics: What have you been up to since graduating in 2015?
Walker: I got married and moved to Mobile, Alabama. I started a sales job in marketing and realized that job was not for me. I am now back in the gym working at Bay City Gymnastics. I coach the level 4s and 5s along with being the preschool director. I am also in a master's program for elementary education.

What is next for you in the sport of gymnastics?
I want to stay involved somehow and just keep enjoying the sport that has always been a part of my life. I enjoy coaching and making a positive impact on the little ones and love looking for the next big star. I want to be a part of the culture change in the sport of gymnastics and be a part of the shift in change.

What do you miss most about gymnastics and being an Auburn Tiger?
I miss training and being with my peers who are all shooting for the same goal. I miss the day in and day out grind. It is definitely the little things that I miss the most.

What is your favorite moment while you were at Auburn?
Definitely making Super Six when no one expected us to.

What was it like being a part of a record-setting team and being able to leave your mark on the Auburn program?
It was very special. I felt lucky that I was able to go out as a senior still loving the sport. I was also lucky to go out on a high note feeling successful. I was fortunate to have a great coaching staff who cared about us as people and not just gymnasts.

Why would you tell a future recruit to come to Auburn?
When a recruit comes to campus at Auburn, the team sits down with them without coaches, and we get to know them and share our honest feelings about Auburn. Auburn has a great family atmosphere and such a great community. Being at Auburn, you feel at home, and it is a great place to be.

Anything else you would like to share with us?
I have started doing choreography for local clubs in the Alabama and Louisiana area. I love doing this, and it is a great way to stay involved in the sport. Growing up I had a coach who showed me the artistry in the sport, and I have a love for that I can express doing choreography. WAR EAGLE!
