Junior Elite Sloane Blakely Commits To Florida, 2021-2022

WOGA elite gymnast Sloane Blakely has committed to the University of Florida. Blakely will be part of the 2021-2022 freshman class, joining previous commits Gabrielle Gallentine and Eliana Lazzari.

Junior Elite Sloane Blakely Commits To Florida, 2021-2022
Junior elite gymnast Sloane Blakely has committed to the University of Florida and will join the team for the 2021-2022 season. Blakely trains at WOGA in Frisco, Texas, with coaches Tatyana Shadenko and Ryan Robe.


In a post on her personal Instagram, Blakely wrote:
I am so excited to announce that I have verbally committed to the University of Florida on a full athletic scholarship!! Thank you to all of the Universities that have shown interest in me, I am extremely grateful and blessed!! I appreciate all of the support from the Florida coaches, my coaches, teammates, and my family for helping me make my decision!! Happy to be a future Gator!!
Blakely competed her first season as a level 10 as well as her first season as an elite in 2016. She finished her level 10 season at the J.O. National Championships where she placed first on beam in the Junior A division. She then continued on to the U.S. Classic and Championships at the elite level. Since last summer, Blakely has attended multiple national team training camps.

Blakely displays a tremendous amount of talent and is particularly strong on beam. Watch her beam routine below from the 2016 P&G Championships.
