Hunting for its first berth to the NCAA Championships, Boise State continued to shred the record books in its regular-season finale this past Friday.

The No. 11 Broncos capped off a memorable senior night by notching a 197.675 -- the highest score in school history -- to take down current No. 7 Denver (197.150) for the first time in three meetings this season. Boise State now turns its attention to this weekend's Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference Championships in Logan, Utah, where the Broncos will be looking for their third straight team title.

New Team Record: 197.675

Boise State's record-breaking score of 197.675 against Denver bested the Broncos' previous all-time mark of 197.325, which was set on last season's senior night. On Friday, Boise State's seniors, Mackenzie Bennion, Diana Mejia, and Paige Urquhart, helped boost the Broncos to an impressive 49.50 on both floor and bars, along with a 49.40 on beam during their historic night.

Boise State Coaches Reflect On Record-Breaking Night

Co-Head Coach Neil Resnick:
They're writing their own story book right now. Nights like this are special, and we're happy to send our seniors out right.
Co-Head Coach Tina Bird:
What a night! Great performances from the whole team helped make this a special memory for our seniors. Diana, Kenzie and Paige were amazing, as usual. The leadership they provide on the competition floor is invaluable, and I'm so proud of them.

Highest Team Ranking In History: 7th

The Broncos are currently ranked 11th in the country with an RQS of 196.835 but have been ranked as high as seventh overall this season -- their highest national ranking in program history. Boise State was ranked seventh in week six of the season with a 196.405 average. Its previous highest ranking was ninth, set last year in 2016.

Multiple meets 197+

This season's Broncos are the first team in program history to have scored higher than 197 in three different meets. Boise State surpassed the 197 mark for the first time on Feb. 3 in a 197.025 to 194.325 win over Southern Utah at home. The Broncos followed that performance with a 197.075 in a close road loss to Denver. After scoring no higher than 196.700 in its next three meets, Boise State turned it up a notch on senior night with its record-shattering 197.675.
