Two Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference teams face off on Friday night as Boise State travels to Utah State in a meet streamed LIVE on FloGymnastics beginning at 8 PM CT. The Broncos are coming off two straight weeks with scores above the 197 mark, while Utah State looks to crack 196 for the first time this season.

It's the first of two meets between these teams in the next three weeks.

The Broncos will be aiming to grab another great score on the road, especially as RQS rankings come out next week. Boise State has continued to improve steadily each week, led by sophomore Shani Remme, freshman Courtney McGregor, and senior Diana Mejia.

The Aggies will celebrate seniors Bailey McIntire, Katie Brown, Keri Peei, and Hayley Sanzotti. McIntire currently holds the sixth-best all-around total in program history with a 39.425. She is expected to compete in the all-around for the first time this season. It is also Superhero Night at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.

Keys to the Meet: Boise State

The uneven bars: The Broncos have been solid on bars all season but especially their last three meets in which they have scored 49.350 or better. Mejia, Remme, and McGregor have all been scoring in the 9.800-plus range for BSU on bars.

The Broncos are ranked fifth in the country on bars.

Consistency: Boise State has only been forced to count a fall once this season--on floor exercise back on Jan. 27. The Broncos have continued to put up great scores each week and have continued to improve.

Athlete to watch: Shani Remme has been a balance beam rock for the Broncos, hitting a 9.725 in all five meets and going 9.900 or better in the last three. She's been very solid on the uneven bars as well and incredibly consistent on vault. She posted a season-best all-around total of 39.475 last week against Denver. Look for her to build off of that and continue contributing solid scores to the Boise State lineup.

Keys to the Meet: Utah State

Emotions: Senior night is always an emotional meet, but head coach Nadalie Walsh hopes that it coming in the middle of the season versus at the very end will help her athletes.

Floor exercise and uneven bars: The uneven bars and floor exercise have been the two events in which the Aggies have really shined. Madison Ward has dazzled on floor exercise with three scores of 9.900. She hasn't scored below a 9.825 all season.

They've got some big tumbling and some great landings on floor in particular. Utah State has cracked the 49.0 mark on both events each of the last two meets. Look for Utah State to continue to build there.

Athlete to Watch: Bailey McIntire will be competing in the all-around for the first time this season. She's struggled a little bit on floor to start the season but has put up two great scores in recent weeks. She put up solid vault scores last season, so look for her to only boost the Utah State lineup there. She's been solid and consistent on uneven bars and has put up great scores on beam when she hits her routine.
