NCAA Gymnastics Week 7: Five Routines You Won't Want To Miss

There's plenty of action happening across the country this weekend as No. 1 Oklahoma faces three Southeastern Conference foes, including No. 2 LSU, at the GymQuarters Invitational on Friday night. Saturday's top matchups include a battle between fifth-ranked Utah and No. 4 UCLA in Pac-12 action. Check out these five routines you're not going to want to miss!

Diana Mejia (Uneven Bars) -- Boise State

Friday, Feb. 17 vs. Utah State at 9 PM ET on FloGymnastics

Mejia has dazzled with her routine for the Broncos this season. She is currently tied for fifth on the event and has scored a 9.900 or better four out of five times this season. She has a big full-twisting double layout dismount and great extension on her skills. Mejia has fantastic form throughout her routine with her legs glued together and her toes pointed throughout the exercise. The senior has earned specialist of the week honors on the uneven bars twice this season. She has also tied her career high of 9.925 twice this season, most recently on the road last weekend against Denver. (WATCH LIVE ON FLO)

Myia Hambrick (Vault) -- LSU

Friday, Feb. 17, vs. OU/UGA/Mizzou at 7:30 PM ET on FloGymnastics

Sunday, Feb. 19, vs. George Washington/Iowa at 3:30 PM ET on SEC Network Plus

Hambrick upgraded her Yurchenko full to a Yurchenko 1 1/2 in the last several weeks. She's had some shaky moments--a fall against Kentucky and a major stumble last week against Arkansas--but some great ones, too, such as this stuck landing against Missouri. Hambrick's form in the air is beautiful; she has great lines and gives very little away there. The biggest question will be if Tigers head coach D-D Breaux opts to go for a safer vault for Hambrick rather than the risk/reward of the 1 1/2. (WATCH LIVE ON FLO)

Morgan Lane (Balance Beam) -- North Carolina

Friday, Feb. 17, vs. New Hampshire at 7 PM ET on ESPN3

Lane has been solid in the beam lineup for the Tar Heels all season. She has scored a 9.850 or better on all five routines thus far and has scored a 9.900 or better in her last three meets. She has a creative routine with the highlight coming at the top of the exercise. The junior starts her routine with a press handstand that takes her straight into two layout stepouts for her acrobatic series. She's tied for second in the country on the event.

MyKayla Skinner (Floor Exercise) -- Utah

Saturday, Feb. 18, vs. UCLA at 10 PM ET on ESPNU

Skinner has been huge for the Red Rocks on floor exercise this season. She's brought the elite difficulty to collegiate gymnastics with a double-twisting double back to start her routine and finishes the exercise with a full-in. She's been solid with all of her landings and has yet to score below a 9.900 on floor. She's come close to nabbing a 10.0 with a career-best 9.975 in her third meet of the season. Look for Skinner to dazzle once again this weekend in a battle of former world championship teammates.

Mollie Korth (Vault) -- Kentucky

Sunday, Feb. 19, vs. Maryland/Penn/William & Mary at 2 PM ET on BTN2Go
[tweet url="https://twitter.com/Gymtertainment/status/830208025004695552" hide_media="0" hide_thread="1"]

Korth has been a force to be reckoned with at Kentucky this season. The freshman has been impressive across the board but really shined last weekend with a beautiful Yurchenko 1 1/2. The Wildcats as a team have struggled with vault landings all season, and Korth nailed this one to earn a 9.925. It's the first time this season she has hit the 9.900 mark on vault.
