Time For Perfection? 5 Must-See NCAA Gymnastics Routines This Weekend
There is plenty of action happening this weekend, including some great battles in the Pac-12 and SEC as conference action continues. Check out these five routines you're not going to want to miss!

Rachel Slocum (Florida) -- Vault

Friday, February 3, at Alabama at 8:30 PM ET on SEC Network

Slocum has been an excellent addition to the Gators vault (and floor) lineup this season. She does a more unique vault--a front handspring-front pike with a half twist. She hasn't scored below a 9.875 this season on vault and has a knack for finding the stuck landing. Her vault is a breath of fresh air when there are a ton of Yurchenko-style vaults in the NCAA and is also out of a 10.0 start vault. Slocum transferred to Florida before the 2017 season after spending her first two seasons competing for Eastern Michigan.

Ruby Harrold (LSU) -- Bars

Friday, February 3, vs. Missouri at 8:30 PM ET on SEC Network Plus

Harrold made her debut two weeks ago and has been solid for the Tigers so far. She brings plenty of uniqueness to the floor, especially with her Zuchold transition. She hasn't cracked the 9.9 mark just yet, but if she can clean up some small form breaks and starts sticking her landing, expect her to bring in a big number for LSU.

Kyla Ross (UCLA) -- Bars

Saturday, February 4, at Arizona State at 3 PM ET on Pac-12 Network

Ross' form during her elite career was stunning, and she has carried that through to her collegiate career with the Bruins. Her handstands were impeccable in last week's routine that earned a well-deserved 10.0. She shows off the completely vertical handstands for just a little bit longer in this routine before nailing her double layout dismount.

Olivia Karas (Michigan) -- Floor

Sunday, February 5, at Maryland at noon ET on BTN2Go (tape delayed on Big Ten Network)

Karas has a fun and high-energy floor routine with huge tumbling to match. The sophomore has scored 9.9s in back-to-back meets. Her opening double Arabian is definitely one of the highlights of her routine. She gets great height and has had fantastic landings on that pass in particular. Karas finished the 2016 season ranked seventh in the country on floor. Look for the sophomore to build off the last two weeks as Michigan faces Big Ten rival Maryland.

Jillian Winstanley (George Washington) -- Beam

Sunday, February 5, vs. Ball State and New Hampshire at 1 PM

Winstanley is part of a George Washington beam lineup that is ranked sixth in the country right now. She has scored at least a 9.850 in three out of four meets on beam. Her acro series is very unique as she connects a front aerial and front toss rather than the standard backward acro series or a combination of forward and backward skills in a series. She shows good amplitude and flexibility on her leap series as well.
