Oregon State's Roster Grows with Freshman Class of Nine
The Oregon State Beavers welcome in a nine freshmen this season, bringing their roster total to 20 gymnasts for 2017. After finishing in the top 15 in the NCAA last season, the Beavers are looking to build on that success with the added depth and talent of their large freshman class, which stood at 10 before Brianna McCant retired this preseason. The OSU freshmen include:

Kaitlin Campbell: 2015 JO Nationals qualifier
Destinee Davis: Seven-time Junior Olympic Nationals qualifier
Sabrina Gill: Canadian national team member
Lena Greene: Two-time Junior Olympic Nationals qualifier
Jamie Law: Two-time Junior Olympic Nationals qualifier
Maela Lazaro: Three-time Junior Olympic Nationals qualifier
Isis Lowery: 2014 Australian Championships (fourth all-around)
Alyssa Minyard: Two-time Junior Olympic Nationals qualifier
Halli Briscoe: 2014 Texas state championships bars runner-up

Halli Briscoe

Briscoe is a freshman from Dallas, Texas, where she trained at WOGA. She brings the WOGA style to her bar routine that contains both a Jaeger and a Tkachev. Briscoe is also beautiful to watch on beam, including a unique handstand mount directly into her series. She also features beautiful dance throughout. Briscoe sat out all of 2016 due to a knee injury and surgery. Watch for Briscoe to come back this season eager to get back on the competition floor.

Kaitlin Campbell

Campbell is from nearby West Linn, Oregon, and trained at Multnomah Athletic Club alongside fellow freshman Destinee Davis prior to coming to Oregon State.

Destinee Davis

A Woodland, Washington, native, Davis trained at Multnomah Athletic Club. She comes to Oregon State as a seven-time JO national qualifier. Davis is going to be a gymnast to watch this season on floor. She trained with fellow freshman Kaitlin Campbell.

Sabrina Gill

Gill is from Toronto, Ontario, where she trained at Manjak's Gymnastics. Gill was set to join the Beavers last season; however, she deferred a year to train for the 2016 Olympic team. She comes to Oregon State with international experience and a great deal of confidence. Gill will be an impact gymnast for the Beavers this season. She has the ability to bring another 10 vault to the lineup with Yurchenko 1.5. On floor, Gill has difficult tumbling, including a 2 1/2 twist.

Gill secured the bronze medal on bars at the 2015 City of Jesolo event finals:

Lena Greene

Greene is a freshman from Tigard, Oregon, and trained at Metro Gymnastics Center. Greene's training this preseason has been slowed down due to a stress fracture in her shin.

Jamie Law

Law is a hometown gymnast from Corvallis, Oregon, where she trained at Multnomah Athletic Club. She was a JO National qualifier in 2015 and 2014. Law will vie for a spot in the bar lineup this season while adding depth to that event.

Maela Lazaro

Lazaro trained at Rainbow Gymnastics Academy in Aiea, Hawaii, prior to joining OSU. She had great success as a level 10 and qualified to JO Nationals from 2014-16. Lazaro will bring depth to the Beavers this season while gaining experience as a NCAA gymnast.

Isis Lowery

Lowery is a freshmen from Melbourne, Australia, where she trained at Jets Gymnastics. She has great international experience which will provide a great boost to the Beavers. Lowery can make an impact on vault this season as she has competed a Yurchenko 1 1/2, which would add a 10 vault to the lineup. She also may bring the only E pass to the floor lineup with a punch double front.

Alyssa Minyard

A freshman from Golden, Colorado, Minyard trained at Colorado Gymnastics Institute. She will add depth for the Beavers on bars and can compete for a lineup spot this season.
