Eythora Thorsdottir of the Netherlands is known for her impeccable work on beam and her artistically dramatic floor routine, but she is showing big potential on vault in offseason training.

Thorsdottir posted a video on Instagram of her Amanar, which she currently training onto a mat in the pit. It has huge potential -- check it out:



This is a major improvement for Thorsdottir on vault. For reference, at the beginning on 2016, she competed a Yurchenko full at Gymnix:



Thorsdottir competed a double twisting Yurchenko for the latter part of 2016, and while it was solid, an Amanar would really take her to the next level in the all-around. She qualified for the all-around final at the 2016 Olympics Games in Rio and became the most successful Dutch gymnast at an Olympics, taking ninth all-around and second among all European gymnasts.

It looks like the future is only getting brighter for Thorsdottir!
