Junior international elite Gabby Perea has verbally committed to the University of California, Berkeley on a full ride scholarship. Perea is set to graduate from high school in 2020.



Perea trains at Legacy Elite gymnastics and has been on the National Team for the past two years. She made her international debut earlier this year at the International Gymnix where she placed first all-around and second on bars. She then competed at the Jesolo Trophy in Italy where she placed first on bars and third all-around.

At the 2016 P&G Championships, Perea won bars and placed third all-around to re-earn a spot on the National Team. Perea will be a senior elite in 2018 and will be eligible for the 2020 Olympics.
