Laurie Hernandez's TUE Leaked by Russian Hackers
Laurie Hernandez is yet another one of the many victims of hacked private medical records that were released by a Russian group called the Fancy Bears. The records reveal that Hernandez was given a one-time TUE (therapeutic-use exemption) early in the year and has not broken any drug-testing regulations.

Last week, Simone Biles' records were released. She was also granted a TUE for medication.

Release via USA Gymnastics

INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 19, 2016 -- USA Gymnastics learned today that Laurie Hernandez is one of the Olympic athletes whose private medical information has been leaked by the hackers who illegally accessed the drug-testing database of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).  In keeping with official protocols of the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency and WADA, Hernandez submitted and was approved for a therapeutic-use exemption (TUE), the proper paperwork for any prescribed medications that an athlete takes for an illness or condition that requires the use of a medication included on the WADA Prohibited Drug List.  By virtue of the TUE, Hernandez was granted a one-time use for acute inflammation in February/March 2016 and has not broken any drug-testing regulation.
