Watch MyKayla Skinner Nail a Beam Routine in Rio
Fans will get to see the five gymnasts on the U.S. Olympic team practice today in the competition venue for official podium training, but the three U.S. alternates continue to work just as hard behind the scenes. MyKayla Skinner, Ragan Smith, and Ashton Locklear are the three U.S. alternates who traveled to Rio de Janeiro and are practicing every day, just in case there are any injuries on the U.S. team and an alternate is needed to step in.

There are few videos from training, but Skinner's coach Lisa Spini posted a video of Skinner nailing a beam routine at the gym where the alternates are practicing. Watch the video below, courtesy of Spini.
