Brazil Confirms Women's Team for Rio 2016
Following the Sao Paulo Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in late May, Georgette Vidor, Brazil's team coordinator, confirmed the members of Brazil's women's artistic gymnastics team that will compete at the Olympics on domestic soil in Rio in August.

The team includes Daniele Hypolito, Flavia Saraiva, Jade Barbosa, Lorrane dos Santos and Rebecca Andrade, as reported by Brazilian newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo. The alternate has not yet been confirmed.

This will be Hypolito's fifth Olympic Games; Sydney 2000 was her first. Rio will be Barbosa's second Games, as she first represented Brazil in Beijing 2008. Saraiva, dos Santos and Andrade will be attending their first Games. All have World Championship experience except for Andrade, who was scheduled to compete at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China, but withdrew because of injury.
