Japan's 2016 Olympic Team has been named, according to the Japan Times

The team will be comprised of these five athletes:

Kohei Uchimura
Kenzo Shirai
Yusuke Tanaka
Koji Yamamuro
Ryohei Kato

As the six-time world and reigning Olympic champion, Uchimura is surely the leader of this talented team. Kato is a strong all-arounder, while Shirai is particularly stunning on floor.

Shirai is ready for his first Olympic experience:
I am confident, having won through the very competitive national team selection, and trustworthy experienced colleagues will be there. I want to compete in the team event with a goal of winning it.
Japan is aiming to win its first team gold time since the 2004 Athens Games.
