Aly Raisman is the best tumbler in the world. Unfortunate off center oob on first pass. Last pass - double pike+massive split jump to end her routine

Big score for @McKaylaMaroney on FX - 15.20! (6.0/9.20). That's what Martha Karolyi wanted to see!

Kyla Ross VT: low, safe landing on yurchenko 2.5. Hand down.

Maroney FX: stuck 3.5! back 2.5+front full, solid. lovely expressive AOGC choreo. Hit her signature pass with room to spare, amazing. HIT. Martha will likely be pleased.

Big VT score for Gabby. 15.80 (6.50/9.30). Baker scored a big 14.60 on FX, nice. (6.50/8.60)

Douglas VT: great Amanar, landed right in the middle. Huge hug from Chow

Baker FX: 1.5 to double arabian+scissone, nice! Epic piked double arabian - she could lay that out! Hit routine for @KennBaker15

Wieber FX: She is on fire. Double double, stick. nailed her triple turn. Double pike last pass. A big 4 for 4 on night 1. #wieberfever

Price put up 2nd biggest score of the night so far on FX! 14.90 (6.0/8.90) And finishes with 59.600 AA! #TeamEbee is proud!

Brenna Dowell stuck her DTY vault. She's been so solid tonight! Kudos.

Price FX: crazy good double double! double layout 2nd pass, awesome. Are you getting this, NBC?! 1.5 to dbl tuck. Double pike. AWESOME! 

Kyla Ross sat down amanar in the touch warmup. Gabby stood hers up

1 rotation to go in women's night 1!!

Bad news for Maroney but like bars, beam is not a key event for her. Martha wants to see her HIT floor. THAT is key in getting to London.

Maroney BB: punch front+bhs lay. Front pike+swing down. solid. Switch side. switch 1/2+back tuck. Fall on aerial...

Baker BB: love the wolf turn. wobble on series. Darn, fall on switch side. Finished with an incredible Patterson dismount!

Gabby FX: 1.5 step out thru to triple. Big dbl arabian+stag. Deafening crowd applause, love it! Open tucked full in 3rd pass! Double tuck+scissone. 

Vega 14.35 on FX (5.80/8.65/-0.1)

Wieber BB: HIT. Great routine, just a few wobbles. Smoother connection from standing full to back handspring

Vega FX: big pike full in, step oob. 1.5 step out thru to double tuck+stag excellent. great double L turn. nice 2.5+layout. Double pike+scissone. Pretty routine

Price BB: big standing full, boom. side somi. switch+back tuck. wobble on series. Double pike! Smooth through her weakest event.

Dowell FX: front double pike! then double front+stag jump. Beast! Another great hit routine for Brenna. Did you hear she's a future Sooner?

Finnegan scored 14.55 on FX. She did not go out of bounds, my mistake. (6.10/8.45)

Alicia BB: front pike+back tuck mount, yes!! Crowd loved that. Wobble on front tuck. Everything else was super solid.

Aside from that last pass, Finnegan's routine was gorgeous! Love the presentation and difficult turns.

Finnegan FX: piked double arabian. perfect Memmel turn. Crowd clapping along. Double arabian (no whip). darn, big step sideways oob on 2.5 twist. 

Aly BB: a solid, typical Aly start. Then a small wobble on punch pike. Didn't let it phase her, finished great. Patterson dismount easy!

After 2: 1 Wieber 31.250, 2 Price 31.250, 3 Ross 30.40, 4 Douglas 30.150, 5 Raisman, 6 Finnegan

Elizabeth Price is in 2nd PLACE after 2 rotations at Olympic Trials! Shout out to #TeamEbee

Nastia scored 14.50 on BB (6.0/8.50)

Tough routine for Becca. She also sat down her Patterson. I saw her do three in podium training, in full routines, and she landed all 3.

Maroney UB: no... fall on maloney transition. Finished with a huge gienger and big full in. Luckily this is not a key event for her.

Dowell BB: solid front aerial+back pike and side somi. 2 back handsprings to a 2.5 twist. Nice hit routine for the 1st year senior

Baker UB: endo. ricna. piked tkatchev caught close, needed an extra swing before overshoot. Stayed with it. Full in dismount. 

Nastia BB: beautiful series. switch half+onodi+sheep, semi slow connection. Near fall on switch ring - good save! 2.5 dismount, hop

Wieber UB: nailed the routine. STUCK double layout full out! And John Geddert just pulled a Yin Alvarez!! Love it! 

Kyla Ross scored 14.60 on BB (5.70/8.90), Raisman scored 14.20 on UB. Price UB 14.50

Finnegan BB: foot shuffle on standing arabian, still connects to swing down! Solid 2ft lay series. wobble on front aerial, does not connect to next skill. Huge difficulty in this routine. Finished with a nice double pike dismount. She is just beautiful.

Price UB: wielers. shaposh. huge tkatchev. piked ray - usually connects that to overshoot but did not tonight. Not sure why. Double layout full out

Ross BB: missed connection on switch ring, back tuck. wobble on side somi. Roundoff double tuck, STICK! Her cheering section is awesome!

Aly UB: maloney+overshoot. blind to jaeger. stalder full, tkatchev. Double front clean landing. She survives.

After 1 rotation - 1 Maroney 16.10, 2 Price 16.050, 3 Wieber 15.90, 4 Sacramone 15.70, 5 Raisman 15.550

Gabby still scored huge on bars - 15.25 (6.40/8.85). Aly will be 1st on bars, Kyla 1st on beam in rotation 2

HAHA John Macready just picked up Kerri Strug to reenact 96! The look on her face was priceless. Don't think that was planned!

Gabby finished very well. Clean form through tkatchev+pak. And Anna Li scored 15.50 on UB (6.90/8.60)

Gabby UB: piked tkatchev huge! ah got stuck on a half turn, basically did a handstand pushup in reverse grip to get over. killer save!

Li UB: stalder full+hop 1.5+jaeger+pak! NAILED IT! toe full to full twisting tkatchev. Full twisting double lay!! Yeah @AnnaLi_88!

Vega UB: darn.. hesitation on her endo, couldn't get over the bar, extra swing. Great after that. Full in dismount.

Big score for Wieber on vault, 15.90 (6.50/9.40). Liukin scored 14.050 (6.50/7.55). An improvement from Visas..

Dowell UB: piked jaeger. overshoot. stuck full twisting double layout! nice!

Wieber VT: near carbon copy of night 1 visas vault with a lock legged landing. Please stop doing that! But, she's so strong she's fine

Nastia UB: oh man... really great start but ran out of gas. Nearly overshot her last handstand. Double front to her back

This first rotation on vault is unreal. Nothing but world class, difficult vaults. Wieber is next

Finnegan hit bars with a maloney half and a near stuck full in. Price VT: excellent Amanar! Landed right down the middle, just a step back

Sacramone VT 2: went back to the DTY. Good height, but piked it down. 15.375 (6.30/9.40).

Solid. Ross scored 15.50 on UB (6.40/9.10). Sacramone scored 15.70 for VT 1 (6.30/9.40)

Sacramone VT: handspring rudi HUGE! The block she gets is insane. An improvement from Visas. hop back on landing

Ross UB: maoney+pak. form break on maloney half. clean jaeger. precise overshoot. STUCK double lay! Great job

Geez... vault score for Maroney's 2nd vault is 15.75!. Raisman scored 15.550 (6.50/9.150/-0.1)

Raisman VT: Amanar, one of her best ones as long as she landed in the lines... couldn't tell. A tad straight legged on the landing.

Bross UB: maloney half. inbar stalder full+tkatchev. nice jaeger. AGGRESSIVE! quick turns. Full in.. tiny step

Maroney VT1: Amazing amanar as we've come to expect from her. VT 2: Mustafina - not her best but still... wow.

Gabby put the bars to shame in the touch warmup. Here we go with the real thing!
