The oldest and most decorated legend is Daniela Silivas, one of the greatest Romanian gymnasts of all time. Silivas is a 3-time Olympic Champion and 7-time World Champion who was discovered at the age of 5 by Romanian Coach Bela Karolyi.

Silivas became well known following the 1985 World Championships in Montreal, Canada. Following in Nadia Comaneci's footsteps, Silivas won her first world title on the balance beam with a perfect 10. Two years later at the 1987 World Championships, Silivas won four more World medals, including three gold.

Silivas dominated at the 1988 Olympics where she won a medal on every event including three golds, two silver and bronze. In her final competition at the 1989 World Championships, Silvias won three more World titles. Silivas won an astonishing 16 World and Olympic medals and 10 were GOLD!
