Anadia World Cup Challenge: The Russian Competitors
Continuing our Anadia World Cup Preview which Gymnastike will be streaming LIVE to Gymnastike Gold members this weekend, June 22-23, today we take a look at the Russian women who plan on challenging the competition. Russian brings four competitors to the women's division: Anastasia Grishina, Ekaterina Baturina, Alla Sosnitskaya, and Anna Rodionova. These athletes bode well for a thrilling event this weekend.

Anastasia Grishina is the veteran of this squad, having represented Russia in the 2012 London Olympic Games. While in London, Grishina competed on the bars and floor helping Russia secure a second place finish in the team final. Earlier this year, Grishina took the bronze in the all around at the European Championships. She also placed third on the beam and fourth on the floor event finals at the competition.

Second year senior, Anna Rodionova will also participate in the Anadia Cup. Rodionova was the youngest Russian competitor eligible for the 2012 London Olympics. However, the young gymnast did not qualify to the team. This will be Rodionova's first international competition of the 2013 season.

Ekaterina Baturina makes her senior debut this year. As a junior, she competed at the 2012 Jesolo Trophy in Italy, where she aided the Russian team to a bronze medal in the team competition.
