The top eight teams from qualifications at the 2015 World Championships in Glasgow, Scotland will automatically advance to the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. With women's qualifications complete, the countries that will officially be sending teams have been determined.

Top 8 teams that will send a team to Rio:
1. USA
2. Russia
3. Great Britain
4. China
5. Italy
6. Japan
7. Canada
8. Netherlands

Countries that finished 8-16 in qualifications will advance to the 2016 Olympic Test Event, and will have a second chance to secure an Olympic berth. The test event will be held April 16-19 in Rio de Janeiro.

Teams that will advance to the Test Event:
1. Brazil
2. France
3. Belgium
4. Germany
5. Romania
6. Australia
7. South Korea
8. Switzerland

Reserves:
1. Spain
2. Hungary

Additionally, the top eight teams from World Championships are able to send one competitor to the test event, but she will not have Olympic qualification rights. 

The countries below have the opportunity to send individual athletes to the Test event with the ability to qualify to Rio:
