Mary-Anne Monckton: A Look Inside The World University Games
Mary-Anne Monckton is a 20-year-old elite gymnast from Australia with a long list of accomplishments. She has been a member of the Australian National team since 2006, and with that comes much international experience. She was on the World Championships team in 2011, and again in 2014 when Australia placed seventh. Monckton also took the gold on beam at 2014 Australian Nationals, and second on beam at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Monckton truly loves the sport of gymnastics, and often makes training and competition videos to spread the word about the Australian National team. She recently competed at the 2015 World University Games, and helped lead Team Australia to a fifth place finish. She documented the experience through a series of videos on her YouTube Channel, giving others a chance to see inside her world. Below is one of the videos, which shows behind the scenes of competition day.

Another fun recent post of Monckton's is this ab workout using a weight vest that she likes to do after her training sessions:

Some abs I like to do after training with a 10kg weight vest😼 Give it a try 👍 30 second holds and 10 reps of each movement😓. #AfterTrainingConditioning
