Laney Madsen: Crash And Burn Is The Way To Learn

Elite hopeful Laney Madsen posted an entertaining and cringe-worthy video on Instagram showing what gymnasts go through learning new skills. Titled "crash and burn is the way to learn," Madsen is seen taking her share of crashes and falls. Watch the video below:
While some of these mistakes look a little scary, Madsen posted this video with a laughing emoji face and we take that to mean she didn't suffer any injuries!
Madsen is a 14 year old gymnast who trains at Gym-Max in California under coaches Jenny Liang and Howie Liang. Her teammates include Olympic and World Champion Kyla Ross and senior national team member Felicia Hano.
Madsen was cheerleader for years and recently made the switch to gymnastics with the 2020 Olympic Games as her ultimate goal. She became the first gymnast with no competitive experience to be invited to the USAG National Team Training Camp where she attended last November.
Make sure to keep your eye out for Madsen in the future!
