LSU scored a 197.275 to win their tri-meet tonight in their final regular season competition. UNH came in second with a 193.975 and Centenary third with a 192.175. Jessica Savona won vault with a 9.95, Randii Wyrick and Erika Rudiger tied for first on bars with 9.875s, Ashleigh Gnat and Jessie Jordan tied for first on beam with 9.95s, and Lloimincia Hall won floor with a perfect 10. Centenary’s Ashley White won all-around with a 38.7. 

 

LSU had a rocky start on bars with some unusual mistakes and a fall, to score a 48.7 as a team. They were able to put bars behind them and attacked the beam rotation, coming up with a 49.375 total lead by ordan and Gnat who both scored 9.95s. The continued their momentum on floor with exciting performances and ended with a perfect 10 from Hall. They totaled a 49.575 on floor. They finished their night on vault with a solid 49.625 lead by Savona’s 9.95. 

 

The Tigers switched up their lineups tonight and head coach D-D Breaux told us she was determined to rest some of their gymnasts to prepare for SEC Championships. Rheagan Courville did not compete on any event tonight and consistent all-around gymnasts Gnat and Jordan did not compete all four events. Michelle Gauthier was one of the gymnasts who stepped up for LSU. She competed on floor for her first time to score a 9.875. 

 

Centenary had a great meet tonight and scored their season high. New Hampshire struggled on floor but was able to come back on their final three events to post a solid road score.
