10 Must See Routines For The 2015 American Cup
The 2015 AT&T American Cup will take place on March 7, 2015. This event will be held at the extremely spacious, Cowboy Stadium. The field will feature nine female gymnasts from seven countries. Take a look at the top 10 women’s must see routines!

 
 
1. Simone Biles (USA)- Floor
Simone Biles’ floor routine features impressive tumbling, along with upbeat and energetic music. Biles is the reigning floor World Champion. Biles routine showcases a double double, the Biles (double layout half out) and a full twisting double back. This routine is a crowd pleaser as it was very entertaining to all. Biles is looking to upgrade including a double layout full out on floor for her first tumbling pass!


 
2. Mykayla Skinner (USA)- Floor
Mykayla Skinner is known as a daredevil and it shows in her floor routine. She features big tumbling and is looking for more upgrades.  Skinner is planning to debut a 1.5 through to triple full.  Skinner also performs a layout double double within her routine.  Skinner just missed a medal on floor at the 2014 World Championships. 3. Vanessa Ferrari (Italy)- Floor
Vanessa Ferrari is a veteran to the American Cup, making her fourth appearance this year.  Ferrari finished 6th place all-around at the 2014 World Championships.  Don’t miss Ferrari on floor who performs an impressive routine with great presentation. She opens with a tuck double double and continues with a double layout.  She is just as impressive with her fabulous dance and strong lines and execution. Watch her floor routine here

4. Jessica Lopez (Venezuela)- Bars
Jessica Lopez is another veteran to the American Cup, making her fifth appearance this year.  Lopez is a beautiful performer on bars with elegant lines and unique combinations. Her routine also features powerful releases, including back to back release moves.  We look forward to watching this elegant and powerful bar routine.  


 
5. Claudia Fragapane (Great Britain)- Floor
Claudia Frapapane is a must see on floor with her powerful and impressive tumbling.  Frapapane routine showcases a full twisting double layout and Arabian double front.  She finished 10th place all-around at 2014 World Championships.  Watch her floor routine
 
6. Simone Biles (USA)- Beam 
Simone Biles is the defending world champion on balance beam.  Biles is a confident and fierce competitor on beam.  We look forward to watching Biles shine on beam.  Her routine has strong dance skills, combinations, acro moves and most impressively her full twisting double back dismount.  Watch her gold medal winning beam routine.

7. Mykayla Skinner (USA)- Vault
MyKayla Skinner is one of the most powerful vaulters in the world.  Skinner is capable of performing an Amanar and a Cheng.  Both vaults are a very strong and impressive along with having a high start value.  We look forward to seeing which vault Skinner will perform at this year’s AT&T American Cup.  



8. Elsabeth Black (Canada)- Beam
Elsabeth Black represented Canada at the 2014 World Championships where she finished 9th all-around.  Black is one gymnast to watch on beam at this year’s 2015 AT&T American Cup.  Black performs an action packed beam routine, including an impressive BHS full twist.  Watch her beam routine here. 
 
9. Elsabeth Black (Canada)- Vault 
Ellie Black is a strong and powerful vaulter to watch.  Black performs a different style vault- tsuk 1 1/2.  Black has had trouble at times finding the landing on this vault, but look for her to impress on the big stage at American Cup. Watch her vault here. 

10. Emily Little (Australia)
Emily Little is on a comeback and we look forward to seeing her on all four events.  Little retired from gymnastics in 2014.  This will be Little's second competition since coming back from retirement.  Little was a member of the 2012 Australian Olympic Team.  We look forward to watching her comeback.
