10 Beam Routines You Can't Miss In 2015
With college gymnastics season right around the corner, let’s look at the top 10 beam routines that gymnastike is excited to see this season. These beam routines show great skill level, finesse, balance and risk, topped off with a STUCK landing! Let us know whose beam routine you are looking forward to seeing!
 
Danusia Francis- UCLA (Junior) 
Last season Danusia Francis impressed us all with her signature dismount, aerial sideways across the beam connected to a layout full twist.  Francis scored her first perfect 10 on beam last season.  This dismount is a must see and gets fans into the arena to watch.  We can’t wait to see this extremely impressive and difficult dismount again this season. 
 


Bridget Sloan
- Florida (Junior)
Bridget Sloan is a must watch gymnast on beam.  This season Sloan has a new series connecting a front aerial to her BHS layout.  Sloan is a very consistent and aggressive beam worker which shows within her routine.  Sloan was the 2013 NCAA Beam Champion.  She scored her first perfect 10 on beam last season.  We look forward to seeing this aggressive and consistent beam routine this season.  


 


Sam Peszek
- UCLA (Senior) 
UCLA Senior, Sam Peszek is going big on beam for her final season.  Peszek is training an amazing new series, standing full to immediate back tuck!  Peszek is high class on beam and is a very confident and strong performer.  Pezek was the 2011 NCAA Beam Champion as a freshman.  Peszek is back this season as a 5th year senior and is looking to impress with her difficult beam routine.  We look forward to watching Peszek one last season on beam!   

 
 


Chayse Capps
- Oklahoma (Sophomore) 
Chayse Capps is a stellar beam worker who is looking to shine again this season.  As a freshman last year Capps set a career high on beam with a 9.975.  Her beam routine features beautiful lines and flexibility.  Capps has an impressive and well executed front ariel to a one leg scale.  We look forward to seeing this consistent and wonderful beam routine again this season.    

 

Kristina Vaculik
–Stanford (Senior) 
Senior Kristina Vaculik is a gymnast to watch on beam this season for Stanford.  Vaculik is a dare devil on beam, while making it look easy.  She has an incredible full twisting swing down within her routine, which she will be connecting with a switch leap this year. Vaculik also features a strong BHS layout and double full dismount.  Vaculik finished 7th last season in the NCAA Beam Finals.  She has a career best of 9.90 on beam.  We look forward to seeing this strong and confident beam routine for one more season.  Watch her beam routine from event finals- GOLD
 
Jessie DeZiel -Nebraska (Senior)
Senior Jessie DeZiel is a very strong, aggressive and confident beam worker.  DeZiel has made great improvements and been more of a vital role for the Huskers each year.  DeZiel has a clean and well executed beam routine.  She has a beautiful font aerial, BHS layout and front toss within her routine.  She has a career high on beam of 9.90.  DeZiel is known for her difficult dismount, RO 2 1/2 twist that ends with a stick!  We look forward to seeing DeZiel on beam again this season.  Watch her clutch beam routine from Nationals last year! 

Kailtyn Clark- Alabama (Senior) 
Senior Kaitlyn Clark competed on beam in all 14 meets for the Crimson Tide last season.  Clark scored her first ever perfect 10 on beam last season!  Clark is a clutch beam routine that provides a huge score for the Tide.  Clark is a cool and calm beam worker with great difficulty.  Her routine features a BHS layout, front toss, sheep jump and RO 1 1/2 dismount.  We look forward to watching Clark continue to shine in her senior year. 


 
Haley Sorenson -Oklahoma (Senior) 
Haley Sorenson is a beautiful and elegant beam worker for the Sooners.  Sorenson has clean lines and shows off her flexibility within her beam routine.  She has not competed in the lineup for the Sooners on beam and is looking to make a big impact in her senior season.  Sorenson looks great this preseason and we look forward to seeing Sorenson blossom on beam this season. 
 

Erin Macadaeg
- LSU (Freshman)
Freshman Erin Macadaeg is looking impressive on beam this preseason.  Macadaeg is a strong beam worker with phenomenal execution.  She features a strong BHS layout, beautiful leaps and dance as well as a front aerial. We look forward to watching this young gymnast excel on beam this season for the Tigers. 

Kiera Brown- Georgia (Sophomore) 
Sophomore Keira Brown is looking very strong and consistent on beam this preseason for the Gym Dogs.  Brown has increased her difficulty on beam this season with a triple flight series- BHS, layout, layout.  She also has added a difficult dismount with a RO double back.  Brown saw some action in the beam lineup last year, but is looking to solidify a spot in her sophomore season.  We look forward to seeing Brown step up on beam this season for the Gym Dogs.
