My proudest accomplishment is winning the P&G championships & making national team!

My biggest fear is snakes!! I really don't like them and they scare me..

What are your favorite sports besides gymnastics?
Besides gymnastics I love to watch the New York Giants and the New York Yankees!

Do you have any nicknames?
Yes, I have a lot of nicknames! Jazzy is my main one but Laurie [Hernandez] calls me chalky or JJ bean and Ari [Agrapides] calls me Jazzy bean!!

What motivates you?
The one thing that motivates me the most in and outside of the gym is reminding myself about all the goals I want to accomplish over the next few years!!

What is your dream skill to perform?
If I could learn anything, I would like to learn a double twisting double layout on floor!!

What is the most daring thing you’ve ever done?
The most daring thing I've ever done was jumping off a cliff in lake George!

Would you say you are an introvert or extrovert?
I would say I'm an extrovert because I'm outgoing and I like to have a lot of fun!!

What do you to do relax after a hard workout in the gym?
After a hard workout in the gym I like to take ice baths and get massages!

What would you do if you had a day off of gymnastics?
If I had a day off from gymnastics I would spend my free time going to the beach and getting my nails done!

If you could be any other gymnast, who would you be?
If I could be any other gymnast it would probably be Simone Biles because of her power and because she's perfect!!

Who are your role models?
The three role models outside of the gym would be my mom, my dad, and my grandma!!

What is your ideal pre-competition meal?
My ideal pre-competition meal is oatmeal and fruit for breakfast and pasta/fish for lunch/dinner.

What sport would you do if you weren’t doing gymnastics?
If I wasn't doing gymnastics I would probably be playing soccer because I used to do it when I was little.

What does this next year of gymnastics look like for you?
Gymnastics in the next year looks like it's filled with fun and excitement. And more first experiences for me. I can't wait to compete again!

If you won the lottery, what would you do first?
If I won the lottery, the first thing I would do is go to the mall and buy all the clothes and shoes that I've always wanted!

What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve done in practice or a meet?
The most embarrassing thing I've done was falling on my back on my front aerial in my floor routine! We were at podium training for the P&G's  and my leg just gave out and everyone though it was so funny! Everyone saw it-college coaches, media... It was so bad!

How would your friends describe you?
My friends would describe me as being funny, entertaining, and motivational.

Which gymnast(s) do you admire most?
The two gymnasts I admire the most are Shawn Johnson and Jordyn Wieber. I admire them because I watched them never give up on their dreams.

Describe your personality in one word
One word to describe my personality in the gym is determined! :)
