Day two of women’s qualifications is complete! USA had the team high with a 235.038, China is in second with a 230.753, and Russia is third with a 228.135.

Simone Biles (USA) had the individual all-around high with a 59.599, followed by Russia's Aliya Mustafina with a 58.874, and Romania's Larisa Iordache with a 58.365.

The top 8 teams will move on to team finals, which take place Wednesday, October 8 at 7am Eastern Time. The top 24 all-around gymnasts (with two per country max) will compete in individual all-around finals on Friday, October 10 at 7am Eastern Time. The top 8 gymnasts on each event (with two per country max) will qualify for individual event finals which take place October 11 and 12. 

For USA, Biles and Kyla Ross qualified for all-around finals. Biles also qualified for event finals on vault, beam, and floor. Ross qualified for event finals on beam. Mykayla Skinner placed sixth all-around but because of the two per country rule, she won't get to compete in all-around finals. Skinner, however, will compete in vault and floor event finals. Ashton Locklear qualified for bars finals.
