Top Ten Takeaways from the U.S. Men's Podium Training
The U.S. men had their official podium training today and here are the top ten takeaways from the practice session.

2. The U.S. went 27 for 30 routines. There were three falls total from the first five routines on each event (only counting the first vault for Dalton and Whittenburg).
3. The team looked strong on pommel horse and didn't have a fall. This event is crucial for them because it is not only their weakest event but also their starting event. Watch anchor Naddour's routine here.
4. Mikulak and Whittenburg practiced every event and they will likely be the two looking to qualify for all-around. Other all-around favorites Leyva and Orozco will likely not compete all events in qualifications. Watch Mikulak's high bar set here.
5. There was high energy from team USA throughout training. They looked focused but excited and were cheering loudly throughout their practice.
6. All six on the team plus alternate Paul Ruggeri warmed up on vault, showing good depth for team USA on this event. Ruggeri also practiced high bar and floor.
7. Vaulting insanity from Whittenburg continues at Worlds. He warmed up his Dragalescu and Tsuk full-in and both looked incredible with great height and form. He over rotated and rolled out of his Tsuk full-in but it looks like he knew where he was and could easily land it. Watch his Dragalescu in slow-mo here.
8. Mikulak brought back his Kas double, which he hasn't yet competed this year. Watch the vault here.
9. The team carried their momentum from pommel to rings where they had a particulary impressive lineup, with beastly Whittenburg anchoring.
