Take a look at the top 10 favorite floor routines from this past NCAA season. The most exciting event in women’s college gymnastics tends to lead to some amazing skills, routines, choreography and performances. This event lets the gymnast perform, let loose and show off to the crowd. This event tends to be a crowd favorite as well! 




 
10. Kim Jacob (Alabama)

                     
Senior Kim Jacob used a crowd favorite Sweet Home Alabama floor music mix this year. This music easily got the Alabama fans into her routine right away! Jacob opens with a huge piked full in with great form and her chest up on the landing. She has great performance value with a smile on her face and clean dance throughout. She adds a double pike and a round off 1 ½- front full tumbling pass. Watch Kim's impressive floor routine here

 
9. Chayse Capps (Oklahoma)


Chayse Capps brings beautiful and unique choreography to her floor routine. As just a freshman Chayse did an amazing job at making her floor routine look effortless. Her floor music, "Intro" by a band called "the XX", allows for intricate dance and musicality. Her routine has some strong tumbling as well including her unique final pass of a double full to immediate layout step out. I am looking forward to seeing Chayse’s routines over the next few years! 8. Sydney Sawa (UCLA)


Senior Sydney Sawa continues UCLA’s tradition of unique choreography with intricate dance with her floor routine. This routine also shows great musicality. Her beautiful routine was rewarded this year as she scored her first career perfect 10! Her incredible dance and choreography makes her routine hard to take your eyes off of. She balances out the beautiful dance with great tumbling and execution. Watch her routine here.

 
7. Bridget Sloan (Florida)

                               
Bridget Sloan’s floor music gets your attention right away as well her fierce dance to go along with it. Her music is "Seven Nation Army" by the White Stripes which allows her to showcase fantastic musicality. She scored her first perfect 10 on floor this year with this beautiful and well balanced routine. Sloan brings exquisite execution to her floor routine along with strong tumbling. She opens with an impressive and difficult landing of a front double full and a double pike for her second pass. 6. Haley Scaman (Oklahoma)


Haley Scaman has scored two perfect 10s this season for the Sooners as just a sophomore. Scaman brings big tumbling and dynamic dance to her floor routine that makes it hard to take your eyes off her routine. KJ Kindler has done an amazing job with OU's choreography and Scaman's routine is a great example of that. Haley was ranked 2nd on floor this year with an average score of 9.933. 5. Kytra Hunter (Florida)

  
Kytra Hunter was ranked number 1 on floor for majority of the season with an average score of 9.958. Hunter scored a perfect 10 on floor 4 times this year. Hunter brings the gator chomp and well executed dance to her floor routine. She brings powerful tumbling with a double layout and ends with a huge open double tuck. 4. Georgia Dabritz (Utah)


Georgia Dabritz brings high risk and high difficulty to her floor routine. Her routine is one of the hardest routines being done in college gymnastics today. Dabritz is among one of the few gymnasts who opens her floor routine with an E level pass (piked full in), and finishes with an E level pass (triple full). She scored her first perfect 10 on floor this year at Michigan. Although Dabritz has high difficulty she does not sacrifice any deductions as she has amazing execution throughout her entire routine.  See Georgia's reaction to her first 10 on floor here in an interview

 
3. Joanna Sampson (Michigan)


Senior Joanna Sampson’s floor routine brings strong and bold tumbling. She opens with a huge double layout! She has a nice front combo for her middles pass, front full-front layout. Joanna’s floor routine ends with a double pike that is so high she has time to open up and spot for a near perfect landing every time. Joanna is the 2013 NCAA Floor Champion and finished 2nd in 2014. She scored her first career perfect 10 on floor at the Big Ten Championships this year. Joanna enjoys performing on floor as you can see throughout her routine with a smile on her face and she enjoys getting the crowd into her routine. Watch Joanna's impressive tumbling and routine here. 

 
2. Katherine Grable (Arkansas) 


Kat Grable is the 2014 NCAA Floor Champion! Her floor routine combines unique and powerful tumbling with great choreography and dance. Her first pass is a beautifully executed Arabian double front half out! Her second pass is a unique combo, round off- 1 ½-front full-front layout ½ step-out. She finishes with a huge double pike. As if the tumbling wasn’t impressive enough, Grable has a blast while performing and shows that off with a smile on her face the whole routine. 1Lloimincia Hall (LSU)

               
Llominicia Hall's floor routine has it all! Strong tumbling, dynamic dance, pizazz and performance value! She has scored a perfect 10 on floor 5 times in her career. This past year her routine finally got noticed by the rest of the world when her floor routine went viral. Good Morning America even took notice! Her floor routine is show stopping and says- I dare you not to watch! Her spunk and bold choreography is what most people notice, including her famous seat drop! Learn her signature moves here! However she has some amazing tumbling too.
