2013 World Uneven Bars Final Contenders

Aliya Mustafina, Russia
Defending Olympic Champion Mustafina will be the one to beat in this final.

Yao Jinnan
Jinnan carries the highest start value in the world on this event and performs a rarely seen Gaylord (Mo Salto) release!

Shang Chunsong
Shang has a huge D score and plans to be the first gymnast to compete a piked hindorff which has been valued as an F skill. Also watch out for the 3rd Chinese bar worker Huang Huidan. However, only the top two per country may advance. Regardless, count on seeing two Chinese athletes in the final.

Kyla Ross, USA
Ross simply floats on bars. She carries a D score of 6.40 and always earns high execution.

Ruby Harrold
The young Brit competes an incredibly unique routine featuring a stoop shoot and a Bhardwaj transition. Her British teammates Rebbeca Tunney and Becky Downie also have big routines with a chance for the final.

Simone Biles, USA
Biles is a balanced all arounder and with a hit routine she could find herself the final.

Tatiana Nabieva, Russia
Nabieva is the 2011 World Silver Medalist on uneven bars

Elisabeth Seitz, Germany
Seitz is a former World finalist and competes a def (full twisting ginger). Also look out for teammate and Worlds newcomer Sophie Scheder who has competed a 6.30 D score this year.

Ida Gustafsson, Sweden
Gustaffson impresses with a def, hindorff, and aggressive swing.
