The U.S. elites get one step closer to making the World Team this weekend at the P&G Championships. Both men and women will compete during the August 15-18 competition in Hartford, Connecticut hoping to win National titles and ultimately impress the Selection Committee to win a spot on the National Team. Stay connected to all the action this weekend with Gymnastike as we bring you live updates, results, videos, interviews, and more straight from the competition floor.

The women's senior competition promises a fierce battle as Olympians Kyla Ross and McKayla Maroney rejoin the elite field. However, newcomers Simone Biles, Peyton Ernst, and Lexie Priessman foretell a fierce event as they represent the up and coming generation of American gymnastics.

For the men, nearly the entire Olympic Team will reunite on the competition floor to reclaim their positions on the National Team. Jake Dalton, Danell Leyva, Sam Mikulak, and John Orozco will all take to the XL Arena joined by all-stars Paul RuggeriSteven Legendre, Alexander Naddour, and Eddie Penev to duke out who will go home with gymnastics dominance.

The men's and women's junior competitions also look to be close battles. Marvin Kimble and Ryan Sheppard frontline the men's side with Kimble bringing unprecedented talent, and Sheppard a strong pommel horse exercise. For the women, Bailie Key, Amelia Hundley, Nia DennisNorah Flatley, and a multitude of new faces clash for the All Around title. New blood means high intensity and, for some, nerves. This year's junior title is anyone's to win.
