First RQS Rankings Released




Women's Gymnastics National  Rankings 
25 February 2013 - by Regional Qualifying Average


The #2 Oklahoma Sooners were on fire in Norman against #5 UCLA putting up the  highest score in school history and the highest score in the Nation this season with a 198.375 to UCLA 197.2
This peformance propelled OU to the top in the new rankings released earlier today. This is the first week that rankings are calculated using a team's Regional Qualifying Score. 

Teams were previously ranked by season average scores while  RQS score is calculated by taking a team's  top six regular-season-meet scores,  (three must be away), removing the highest score, then taking the average of the remaining five scores.
