Last year's Big Ten champions and runner-up will face off this Friday in Columbus, Ohio as both teams look to add another conference win.

No. 6 Nebraska clinched the title last March in their debut season as a Big Ten competitor, outscoring the No. 14 Buckeyes of Ohio State by almost a full point. Returning Husker Emily Wong also claimed the Big Ten All-around title in 2012 with a huge 39.600, which she topped last weekend during a win against Michigan State with a 39.650.  The performance gave Wong the Big Ten Gymnast of the Week honor.

Ohio State is also coming into the competition with a weekly Big Ten honor.  Sarah Miller, a junior All-American gymnast from Collegeville, Pa., received her second Big Ten Event Specialist of the Week for her performance last Saturday when the Buckeyes defeated Iowa in their first conference win of the season. Miller posted a 9.925 on floor and a 9.850 on beam securing a win on both. Along with that she scored a 9.900 on vault, her second vault scoring 9.9 or higher this season.

During the 2012 season the Huskers and the Buckeyes only meeting was during the Big Ten Championships where the Huskers defeated Ohio State as mentioned earlier.

Miller and the Ohio State Buckeyes will be looking to upset the No. 6 ranked Nebraska Huskers this Friday, January 25th at 7 pm in St. John Arena in Columbus, Ohio.

Other key athletes to look for during Friday’s competition are: Melanie Shaffer (Junior, Ohio State), Alex DeLuca (Junior, Ohio State), Victoria Aepli (Junior, Ohio State), Aly Marohn (Senior, Ohio State), Maggie Dunn (Freshman, Ohio State), Audrey Tolbert (Freshman, Ohio State), Sarah Grady (Sophomore, Ohio State), Jessie DeZiel (Sophomore, Nebraska), Hollie Blanske (Freshman, Nebraska), Jennifer Lauer (Sophomore, Nebraska), Janelle Giblin (Senior, Nebraska), Jamie Schleppenbach (Junior, Nebraska),
