Bama Three-Peat?
The results are in! The majority of you think that Bama will not be able to pull out the three-peat.

Alabama was ranked #1 in the coaches' preseason poll but they have yet to compete for the 2013 season. Their season-opener will be this evening at Mizzou. Coach Sarah Patterson is now in her 35th season with Alabama and has recently stated  " Our ladies are ready to get their season started, to start this journey together. We're also at a point in the season where we need a competition in order to see where we are and to get our starting point."

We will be looking forward to the routines of seniors Ashley Priess and Ashley Sledge. Priess is a former international elite and national team member from CGA and is currently working on her master's degree in Sports Management at Alabama. Sledge has earned all-american honors several times for Alabama and has proven to be a very strong competitor for the team each year.

We are also looking forward to routines from senior Marissa Gutierrez, junior Sarah DeMeo, and former World Champion Kayla Williams.  Gutierrez is most well known for her vault and floor routines. Last season, she won 4th on Vault at the National Championships and earned first team all-american honors for Vault and second team honors for Floor. DeMeo is most well known for the other two events- Beam and Bars. She was in the Uneven Bars line up for every competition last season and in the Balance Beam line up for all but one. As expected, Kayla Williams provides strong Vault scored for the Alabama team.

We will find out tonight just how strong the Alabama team is this season! Can they do it again?
