The 2012 British Championships came to a close on Sunday with the individual apparatus finals. Kristian Thomas and Niamh Rippin each won two titles, while Louis Smith and Elizabeth Tweddle shined on their specialties.
On the men's side, Kristian Thomas won both the floor exercise (15.525) and the vault (16.45). 2011 World Bronze Medalist Louis Smith won the pommel horse with a magnificant 16.375, one of the highlights of the day.
All-around champion Daniel Purvis took home another title on rings (15.2) and placed in the top three on every event but vault. Sam Oldham and Daniel Keatings also performed well, each claiming one title. Oldham won high bar (15.3) and placed second on floor (15.175), while Keatings took parallel bars gold (15.7) and was third on high bar (14.575).
