Illinois wins Men's NCAA Title, Dalton wins All Around!
Illinois rallied from two points down with two rotations remaining to win the 2012 NCAA Men's Gymnastics Championship Friday night at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Oklahoma. Illinois posted a season-high score of 358.850, while host and top-ranked Oklahoma finished second in the six-team field with a 357.450.

It marks the 10th NCAA title in program history and the first since 1989, and of course the first for head coach Justin Spring

Oklahoma's Jake Dalton won the all around title by over a point, totaling a world class score of 91.00. Defending champion Sam Mikulak of Michigan and Illinois freshman  C.J. Maestas finished in a tie for second. Glen Ishino of Cal was fourth. All four of these gymnasts are currently members of the US Senior National team and will contend for spots on the 2012 US Olympic team.
